Our mate and one of our bassists, Steve Lada, sadly passed away on 26 November in the Phillipines. May he Rest In Peace.

“Banjo the Bard of the Bush” is sent to radio for review and John heads off to Western Australia on a promotional tour.This limited edition CD will be only available from our website and contains a new version of “Waltzing Matilda”, “Campin round Coonamble” and In Defence of the Bush” (part of the famous debate Paterson had with Henry Lawson). & a bit of fun at the end.

Wallis and Matilda re-unite to record 3 new tracks for their 30th anniversary CD “Banjo the Bard of the Bush” which also contains some of their all time favourites.

Wallis and Matilda are back in the studio and looking forward to their 30th anniversary reunion in November.

Wallis
and Matilda invited back to the Tamworth Country Music Festival, being
held from January 16th-28th. John Wallis and Colin Perkins (the group
originators) will be performing a special 'unplugged' version of their
Wallis & Matilda concert at the North Tamworth Bowling Club.

Cassette of Clancy and Solar sent to radio on June 5 World environment day and picked up and played by Keith McGowan of Radio 3MP.
This resulted in a record deal with Festival Records and the subsiquent release of four singles and four LP Records
